What is Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain Veneers are thin shell fabricated to cover the front surface of the teeth. It may or may not involve prep on your teeth. It can change the shape and contour of teeth. Or it can change the color of the teeth that people can start noticing the change.
Just like contact lens are sitting on top of your eyes, the porcelain veneers sit on your natural teeth. Only difference is we glue the veneers to your teeth that they do not come off from your teeth. You will be able to use a dental floss as well.
If you have teeth that are chipped, dark, or unevenly spaced, veneer may be a good option.
How is it prepared?
At Park Dental we used porcelain veneer and gentle no-prep veneer. They are custom designed in a style and proportion to fit your face and give you the smile you've always wanted.
If prep is needed to make it natural, prep will be done minimally only on outside of your teeth. Most of the time, even after teeth prep is done, you do not experience any sensitivity.
If you have crowded front teeth but do not have time to straighten with braces or invisalign, the veneers would be a great alternative to fix your appearance.
The veneers can apply to many other occasions such as chipped teeth, discolored teeth or teeth with different shapes!
Porcelain Veneers provide a very natural looking but improved appearance to your teeth.
